Doable, but not optimal.

Still a scam, nonetheless.

4 I'll note that a hospice provider does not equal a hospice facility. When possible, hospice care can be provided in a skilled nursing facility or other long term care facility. A patient is normally moved to an actual hospice facility when their hospice care requires more immediate or near constant care or medication. This was explained to me BY a hospice provider.

I also have no doubt that building is being used by fake 'providers'

5 My experience with hospice was as a service provided in the home setting. There would still need to be a central location for dispatch and supplies. None of these “businesses” fit that description either.
Building surveillance cameras will show no activity at any of these businesses. A journalist could do a stakeout to show the same. If the building contracts a janitorial service, that would be another possible angle to prove that there is no activity.

6 The best hospice care companies also have in-patient facilities for —generally — short term stays to stabilize the patient or to give the caretakers a break. I don’t now recall why my elderly mother stayed there for about a week, but it was a positive experience for us all. Several of the nurses discussed with me the blessing of being permitted to ease the path of her patients in the way they wished, compared to the harshness of uncomfortable and intrusive medical treatments that by that point would only slightly extend life.
