4 Speak softly and carry a big stick, ie., move whatever mililtary resources are deemed necessary onto the island but don't say anything about it. Denmark saves face and Trump gets his bases. If it comes to mining, do the same. Move the drills and miners onto the island while saying nothing. Nobody will stop it. Maybe even slip some of the profits under the table to concerned Danish authorities. Let them keep their soverienty while we keep the bases, the oil and the rare earth minerals.
