2 According to Wikipedia, Singapore is %15.6 muslim. Very multi religious and multi ethnic. Interesting place with a unique history.

6 Japan, South Korea, and China have declining birth rates. Similar falls in most Western countries. Though in the US, a closer analysis shows the decline is mainly on those who would be classified as the Left with those on the Right retaining replacement levels. Paul Ehrlich's fear mongering of a population explosion is right in there with climate change.

Low birth rates weaken Social Security and other social programs.
I don't think the young will allow it to last very much longer, mostly due to the bulge going through the python known as The Baby Boomers. I'm guessing the young will eventually gang up on their elders.
