9 The "spectrum" is very broad and includes a lot of people with varying degrees of the disorder, some of whom you might not suspect unless you get to know them quite well, people who have adapted to life in this world in spite of being socially awkward and "a little weird around the edges".

You shouldn't be so tough on them. They may not be as "normal" as you but that doesn't mean they are not capable of a great many things, sometimes at a higher level than most "normals". You are probably familiar with the TV show Big Bang in which the people around Sheldon Cooper are constantly bewildered by his peculiarities but must acknowledge his genius. Then there was the movie Rainman in which Dustin Hoffman's character has it so bad that he is unable to function on his own but has extraordiary abilities with numbers. Then there is the Netflix series Extraordinary Attorney Woo in which a very cute Korean girl with a severe disorder nonetheless becomes a brilliant attorney. Of course, in real life there is Elon Musk

Your never know, it might even be the kind of mutation that becomes an evolutionary advantage.

It certainly doesn't mean that autistics are Democrats.

10 Not a fan of normalization of spectrum face because it should not be normal.

Vax schedules, our food, or maybe the environment - something is causing a spike in autism that we didnt see two hundred years ago. Normalizing is acceptance, the new norm should be rejected, and caused investigated.

14 something is causing a spike in autism

A solid chunk of it is the Somali scammers getting federal money, mossomo. Some of it is high functioning kids getting diagnosed when before they were just considered a bit odd or typical nerds. Another chunk is low-to-moderate functioning kids being diagnosed as autistic when formerly they were labelled as non-Downs Syndrome mentally retarded. Many autistic girls, because they mask better than boys, were misdiagnosed as ADHD.
