5 He was infatuated with the fame he did not get when he killed tens of thousands gay men with AIDS. Remember he used the same playbook with them. "We will find a vaccine, no money or research for treatment". France pulled off a marginal treatment and he had it banned because it was not run through trials. I'm not gay or approve of that lifestyle, but allowing someone to die while you look for a miracle cure that brings fortune and fame is criminal. He did it with AIDS, he did it with COVID, I only wonder what smaller groups of people are suffering because of he and his wifes ways...

his wife is likely getting over $100k also

both of these are before deductions for income taxes, health insurance, etc.

yes the amounts seem obscene but because a lot of big shot finance and industry people come to work for govt under Republican presidents, I don't see any change coming

btw, somewhere between 8 and 10 percent af all medical expenditures in the USA are for doctors

about 40% of all medical expenditures are for hospital care
