...Most of 'em are already here - we maintain their Tridents and store the warheads. (Saves them money, ya know) The only ones they should have are whichever ones are on patrol when TSHTF.

And if the crew can't sail into a US port...well, we know how to find them.

11 Thanks for prompting me to look deeper. "Federal Protective Forces" - contractors working for the DOE are responsible for guarding the British nukes while they are in the US. They also guard Hanford, Lawrence Livermore, etc. Interesting group I hadn't run across previously. And as info, the NEST team now stands for Nuclear Emergency Support Team instead of Search Team. Times they are a changing
