4 Not finding the way out can be deadly in any cave.

We used to go 'dry' spelunking during college. Always had markers or a tag line to find our way out.

The tag line (think 5lb roll, or two, of 200# test sisal twine with about 1,200-1,500 feet) worked better for longer explores as the batteries on our lights didn't always last as long as we wanted (although we did carry spares).

6 Modern Person walk up to Bison and Elk for clicks. I watched a gal do a yoga handstand near mid-waterfall on wet, lichen covered polished rock, and if she fell she wouldn't be seen until a golf course intake was plugged.

Aura Farming I think is what the kids call it.

Resorts generally provide a quick course and basic sports diver certification as part of the newbie dive package. It’s rarely as demanding as the course offered by dive shops back home, but it should include a certified dive master supervising the newbie for the first couple of dives. Nonetheless idiots will insist on saving money by going off on their own without training, even in rock quarries in the U.S., and then bad things are likely to happen.
