As usual again Communism government has failed.
It seem every communist nation at some point, faces a major internal economical awaking due mass internal shortages of basic items like food, medical and energy.

While Vietnam operates under a Communist "style of Gov". It has moved more and more to socialist-capitalist oriented market economy.

Where the government still plays a role in economic development, BUT ! Also allows market forces to influence supply and demand.

The economy has transitioned from a centrally planned communist system to a mixed economy used by most of the world. Gov regs for protection and general Free enterprise for keep the nation in supply and $$$$$.

In 2025 it imported about $45B from the USA and exported the US around $170B alone.

BTW: in a communist Government there are NO billionaires
