3 Sounds like he got basing and mineral rights. That’s all we need. It extends missile defense coverage in a vulnerable direction. Greenland folks will get an economic boom and still retain their European vacations, crippling socialism and disdain for us.

Greenland requires about $ 600 million in subsidies each year from Denmark (about $10k per person per year).

It has almost no economy and imports are expensive.
