1 Sorry, I have a soft spot for old-fashioned jewel thieves. I loved the Louvre heist. Prison escapes are another one. Sure, they're evil men but anyone who can get out of a prison has my respect. My favorite of all is the one-man crime wave. It's always a great story. But this time is coming to an end. In our surveillance society where everyone has a microphone and GPS locator in their pockets crime will nearly be impossible. Just wait until they start chipping us like pets. They'll say, look at how convenient everything is! No more cash, no more pennies, no more low battery on your phone, just be in range of the NFC device and you pay. No more self-checkout kiosks, walk out of a store like you're a BLM looter except you pay for it. Then they start disabling people's access to the system like Canada did to those truckers.
