4 Steve Bannon said we should have gone kinetic against China the moment Trump re-entered office.
We will pay for that mistake for a long time.
The longer we delay, the stronger China gets.
In WW2 fortunately the Japanese attacked before they were really ready but we can't count on a lucky stroke like that again.

5 Is China really getting stronger?

Companies have been moving their business from China to cheaper, less corrupt markets like India and Viet Nam, a trend that started before Covid. They’re making strides, apparently, in AI, but the most advanced chip makers will no longer sell to them, nor make the things there, so their people aren’t learning the latest skills, and their million man army of only sons is full of men no longer in the first bloom of youth, who soon enough will be too old to fight. Not to mention that bankruptcy looms far beyond the civilian housing market.

China is not a paper tiger, but it isn’t all over teeth and claws, either.
