Enough. We are risking American lives, American equipment, and American treasure every time we play this game. I do not doubt for an instant your sincere desire to wind this up with as little bloodshed as possible, but the Iranians will never cooperate.

Start bombing and keep bombing until the Iranians stand up at the UN and clearly and unambiguously call for a cease-fire. In English. No more double talk, no more conditions, no more tolerance for the IRGC.

5 I wasn't born yet and the Vietnam War isn't a major interest of mine, but Trump's approach reminds of LBJ's approach of dealing with North Vietnam: bomb the crap out of them and then let up, thinking they'll behave like rational & reasonable people who will negotiate in good faith. Either someone is giving Trump bad advice or Trump is ignoring the good advice he is being given.
