When the war started, oil went from about $66.00 a barrel to $112 a barrel.
GAS Prices jumped $1 a gallon overnight, weeks before even the 1st drop of that oil reached the USA.

Now Now that Oil has dropped from around $112 a barrel to about $72.00 a barrel. So when will my gas prices drop back to near pre-war prices? Or will the Oil industry milk the profits for another 6 months

Brent crude drops below $75 a barrel for first time since February 28

The price of Brent crude oil, the international benchmark, extends losses to trade under $75 a barrel for the first time since the start of the US-Israel war with Iran on February 28.

Brent slides 3.1 percent to $74.73, extending its fall since the United States and Iran last week struck a deal to end the conflict..

7 When weapons inspectors were in the country, I recall it was timely access and surprise access to sites that was the major contention.

Weapons Inspectors on the ground is not too much of a big deal when you can thwart delay access to said sites.

9 The flow through the strait isn't back up to pre Feb 26 levels and won't be for at least a few weeks.

Vessels that were held in the Persian Gulf were, in many cases, heavily burdened by barnacle infestation and will need some treatment. Also, the number of vessels entering the gulf is down from the pre Feb26 levels. This is partly because oil production requires time to ramp back up.
