So after 50 years of lowering the combat fitness test & standards to allow women in. The DOD is now going to return to common sense in how to fight a war?

BTW: What clear battle victory has the US DOD chalk up since the inclusion of women in combat?

Don't get me wrong, women have served and continue serve in many very meaningful Combat Support Roles.

I just don't see them in Foxhole type / LRRP situations, due to their unique, distinctively specific physical and logistical issues.

An yes, I have a known a 1st skirt that could actually meet and do a combat deployment, while I was working Ft. Bragg.

6 That’s what they call a moderate or sensible heel, Seeking Cure. I believe about 1.5-2” — enough to look smart, not enough to be uncomfortable during long hours for most women. In those days the uniforms required girdles, as well.

7 One size fits all. It doesn't work. Combat Arms should be significantly demanding. Support troops still need to be fit enough for rear area security even in modern warfare there really is no 'rear area'. They don't need to be at the CA level. I prefer reclassified CA troops who have the experience but have non-crippling profiles to be in the Combat Support and Combat Service Support skills.

8 Gee TW, I hope women fare better today in wearing flats and sensible outfits, Dress for the job and not for men eyeballs!

I meant if you're going to be in the military, let them do their jobs the same way men dress for their job comfortably!
