1 I thought their WMD was nuclear not chemical?
This is the first I've heard of it.
Fentanyl comes from Mexico via precursor components made in China.
The WMD hoax is why we invaded Iraq. The media fooled us all.

Why assume they only have one kind? Iraq was working on all three — biological, chemical, and nuclear — as was Al Qaeda before 9/11, Syria, the Soviet Union, Communist China… America. And while nuclear weapons are expensive to develop, biological and chemical are really, really cheap.

Fentanyl comes to America from Mexico, abetted by precursors provided by China. But it’s really basic cookbook chemistry, especially when trade with China is an important part of your economy, as is the case with Iran.

The claim that the WMD thing in Iraq was a hoax is a well-publicized lie, I’m afraid. We watched it here at Rantburg in real time, not just in open source news reports and interviews, but also in personal reports from people in the Iraq in the years after the 2003 conquest of The country.
