4 US intel said to assess Iran can recover underground launchers, fire thousands of missiles

The Wall Street Journal said Iran will have to rely on Russia and China to rebuild its missile program.

That assessment dovetailed with a CNN report that indicated China was working to ship air defense systems to Iran amid the two-week ceasefire with Israel and the US.

Citing three  people familiar with recent intelligence assessments, CNN reported Saturday that US intelligence indicates China is  preparing to deliver to Iran shoulder-fired anti-air missile systems known as MANPADs.

I read that as a warning to China not to let any of the more entrepreneurial elements of the PLA even think about supplying MANPADS. China needs Hormuzian oil more than we do.

7 I read somewhere a long time ago, after the IDF had pretty badly mauled the Syrians, Russians claimed the problem was not Russian weapons but the cowardly and incompetent performance of Syrian troops trying to use those weapons. Not a good way to build customer relations but what else could they say?
