3 I cannot help but suspect there is a story behind the malfunctioning toilet story, and I suspect it isn't pretty. It's been floating around for quite a while without operational incapacitation, until deployment to a combat zone was announced.

6 It is a BRAND NEW DESIGN and build. There will be problems.

Frankly 240+ days deployed, I am impressed. I was a doubter, now I think we may actually have a worthy Nimitz replacement.
