1 not sure what's going on here but the X link keeps reverting to a strange state. The fire is really close to where the 2024 similar fire was.
Some wonder why the fire is so similar and suspect terrorism. What rantburg state is doing I have no clue.

It is NOT. This was caused by a car colliding with the tanker truck in an improper lane change (we all see out here every day)

Thankfully the truck driver got away with no injuries.

It’s sounding more like a common accident on a known bad stretch of highway that could have been much worse, but let’s continue waiting for information about the fuel truck driver and the company he works for.

7 No word on the identity of the mom. The truck driver is a 47-year old man, temporary repairs were quickly done on the highway that’ll hold until the thing is properly done later in the spring, and the road is fully open in both directions again.

It sounds like we can be grateful that this one will only cost money — no attack and no one badly harmed in the accident.
