1 Comment: the first 20 seconds is the same as I saw two days ago. Along with a lengthy Twitter/X thread about how this video absolutely proved - or showed absolutely nothing. The most important argument from the thread is the US does not target civilian sites. Compare/contrast to Oct 7 Hamassniks.

7 I used to stand watch at a harpoon station. The firing key wasn’t present so I would spend time programming in firing solutions in nearby vessels.
It strikes that this is not a flight pattern that would be used for a tomahawk. Why have it pop up to risk neutralization by AA fire? Does that path allow optimize the impact on Social Studies class? This psyop seems poorly conceived to me. It’s almost Palestinian.

8 My first thought was short of Supe's; why do that angle? and perspective lines make the 'missile' look huge. Remember views can look compressed with a big zoom on (hence the Playstation 1 looking trees and details), like the center field to home plate camera in baseball does.

Now I have questions if the plume is even real.

Somebody help me with the angular velocity vs. a vertical (and rather instant) plume, no floppies scattering to the left of camera view?

12 For the sake of discussion, and pure armchair, I could see a sabot/bunker buster benefit from a 'pop up' and entry like so.

But, wouldn't that bleed a lot of energy, and need to regain that lost energy by using a propellant on the downward strike of the arc?

Are there reasons to pull a punch, sure, that is what the ginsu maverick etc. are, but that doesn't seem to be what the mission of a tomahawk is unless purpose built, which would raise the question, what would need such a tool unless it is to knock out a rather important target, a target so important that a baby school milk factory was painted on its face? Which connects to the point, if that theoretical bunker would be that important, where is the kinetic boost of the buster?
