1 These aren't "Kamikazes" they are "guided missiles".
The original Japanese kamikazes were guided missiles, but guided by a human pilot instead of a computer. Is a Sidewinder a kamikaze? journalists simply do not understand military affairs.

3 I have not been a fan of the idea of mandatory military service because our yutes are so confused, out of shape and drugged up. That said, most of the neck beard dudes are good with video game skills. They might be good with drones.

5 25 years ago I proposed something similar for the opening phase of Afghanistan - air-drop a bunch of cheap RC model planes with cameras and small charges. Control from nearby mother ship (possible with total air superiority.) Fly them around and crash-boom them into targets. This was before drone helicopters or swarm software were beyond their infancy.

Ukraine has been recruiting hard from its professional gamers for drone operators as they learn the mechanics faster than others and are far more deadly.
