It is work to absorb, epic in the span it details, and would be far more meaningful to those with some closer knowledge of the players and events than this decrepit old observer. But the depth of the betrayal and the wickedness of players like Shiff, Comey and Brennan still gives a whiff of looming brimstone and acid reflux from the effort to digest.
