Quite possibly the Druze will all have moved to the Israeli side of the Golan Heights, if it comes to that, where they’ll be Hell on wheels, finally as free as their cousins who were lucky enough to be there all along. If the Alawites are smart they’ll escape to their co-religionists in Iran, where they’ll have to put up with endless insults for being shiftless Arabs, though better Arabs than the Sunni lot over by Baluchistan. If the Alawites are stupid, they’ll join their co-religionists in Lebanon, to be lorded over by Hezbollah and pay for the privilege by going as suicide bombers against Israel. Because it’s much too late to make Hijra to Europe or America, though England might stupid enough to take them…
