What’s unfolding in Minneapolis right now isn’t “protest.” It’s low-level insurgency infrastructure, built by people who’ve clearly studied the playbook.

During the post-WW1 era the Chinese Warlords needed military weapons and the German Weimar Republic was happy to supply them. The various League of Nations attempt at arms embargoes of China and the German desire to keep their arms industry from withering under Versailles restrictions made them natural partners.

TL/DR: It is far more nuanced than Nazi-Kuomintang 'alliance'.
