[DM] Juan Luis Estrada, 45, of Perris, stole a white Toyota Camry from its owner on June 16 and began a two-hour rampage through the streets of Culver City and Los Angeles, according to police.
Estrada allegedly intentionally struck at least ten pedestrians, aged between 15 and 70, and led police on a wild chase.
Surveillance footage showed Estrada allegedly speeding away from a gas station and swerving to hit a running pedestrian.
The impact launched the man into the air before he crashed onto the pavement, with the vehicle's back tire running over his legs.
Estrada also allegedly hit a pedestrian standing on the sidewalk near another gas station, before taking out a cyclist at the same location.
Police dashcam footage later showed Estrada allegedly racing down a road where he swerved to hit another pedestrian crossing the street.
The pursuit ended when he crashed into a car outside a McDonald's restaurant.

[FOX] Federal authorities on Tuesday charged 10 Southern California defendants in a series of healthcare fraud schemes, including one case involving nearly $270 million in fraudulent Medi-Cal claims and another that allegedly defrauded Medicare out of approximately $27 million.
The charges were part of the Justice Department's broader "2026 National Health Care Fraud Takedown," which resulted in charges against 455 defendants nationwide in schemes involving more than $6.5 billion in alleged fraud.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche described the operation as "the greatest combined federal and state effort in combating healthcare fraud in history."
"Fraudsters can no longer rip off American taxpayers," Blanche said during a news conference announcing the initiative. "If you seek to harm or cheat Americans, we will find you, seize any assets and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law."
[FOX] The suspected gunman who unleashed a barrage of gunfire inside a Northern California library on Monday, killing two people, was influenced by the 1999 Columbine High School shooting and other mass shootings, officials said Tuesday.
The suspect, 18-year-old Bradley Scott Sayer, had no known connection to the library or any of the victims, the Chico Police Department said.
Before opening fire, he allegedly conducted a walkthrough of the building, went to his vehicle and grabbed a shotgun. Once at the front of the Chico branch of the Butte County Library, Sayer fatally shot a man at the main door and another inside, authorities said.

A woman caught on video emptying a public trash can on the street then stealing it during New York City’s Knicks championship parade was a director at JPMorgan Chase who was fired Tuesday over the incident, The Post has learned.
Angie Báez, 40, was promoted to Executive Director of Community and Industry Engagement for Card and Connected Commerce at JPMorgan Chase more than a year ago, according to her LinkedIn profile.
She previously served as Executive Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at New York-based review website The Infatuation, which Chase acquired as part of its broader push into lifestyle and experiential content.
Sources say the bank looked into the incident after the video surfaced and a JPMorgan Chase spokesperson told The Post, "This employee is no longer with the company."
Báez could not be reached by The Post for comment Tuesday. Sources noted she had attended the parade in her personal capacity.
Clips that surfaced over the weekend show Báez dressed in Knicks gear, dumping the contents of a limited-edition blue-and-orange trash can onto a Manhattan sidewalk before walking off with the receptacle. Additional footage shows her riding the subway with the stolen bin.
In a bio on The Infatuation’s website, Báez is described as someone whose “dedication to making a positive impact shines through in every aspect of her work.” The publication adds that “Angie’s efforts have helped position [The Infatuation] as a trailblazer in the pursuit of a more equitable and relatable food media industry,” calling her one of the “brightest voices” in the space.

[IsraelTimes] A Sydney man who rose to global fame for disarming a gunman in last year’s terror attack targeting a Jewish event at Bondi Beach pleads not guilty to assaulting his father.
Ahmed al Ahmed, a fruit seller, was hailed as a hero when viral video footage showed him intervening in the December 14 attack in which 15 people were killed. The 44-year-old ducked between parked cars as the shooting unfolded, grabbing one of the two gunmen and wresting away his weapon in an effort to stop the killing.
Facing court in the Sydney suburb of Bankstown, Ahmed denies charges of common assault and domestic stalking or intimidation, according to court documents provided to AFP.
The next court hearing is set for August 12.
“It has been very difficult. It is a family situation that he never expected, one would never want to expect, and it must be very difficult for him,” his lawyer Mohamad Sakr tells journalists outside court.
“There is one thing that must be upheld and that is the presumption of innocence. He is a heroic man and his honesty and dignity should be maintained until these matters are determined.”
Ahmed, who sustained gunshot wounds at Bondi Beach, later met Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
A fundraiser set up for him raised over $1 million.
Last month, his two brothers faced court in Sydney over allegations they had attempted to pressure Ahmed into handing over some of that money, local media said.

[FoxNews] Walmart and Constellation Energy signed a 15-year nuclear power deal, the companies announced Tuesday.
Constellation Energy will supply nuclear power from its Dresden Clean Energy Center in Illinois to Walmart's "high-tech" perishable distribution center, currently in development in Belvidere, Ill., according to the nuclear power purchase agreement, Reuters reported.
Under two 15-year contracts starting in 2029 and 2030, Walmart will buy about 176 megawatts of electricity, including 30 megawatts of additional output from planned upgrades.
The deal is among the first between a nuclear energy provider and a major U.S. retailer, showing a growing interest from corporations in baseload clean power, which can provide electricity 24/7.

The Media Research Center (MRC) is out to prove ABC’s "The View" is a "political operation, not a bona fide news interview program" as the network battles the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) over equal time for political candidates.
Earlier this year, the FCC launched an investigation into ABC's "The View" amid the agency's crackdown on equal time for political candidates after Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico appeared on the show. Disney on Monday launched an on-air campaign urging viewers to support "The View," but the conservative MRC feels the show fails to meet the "bona fide news" standards that would make it exempt from the equal time rule.
"For nearly four decades, the Media Research Center (MRC) has been an unrelenting media watchdog and a counterforce to activism in America’s newsrooms, broadcast networks, and Big Tech platforms. As such, the MRC is uniquely qualified to respond to the Commission’s request for comment on Disney/ABC’s petition to declare that the daytime television program The View qualifies as a bona fide news interview program," MRC President David Bozell wrote to FCC division chief Maria Mullarkey.
"ABC claims that its daytime television program The View is a ‘bona fide news interview program’ and thus should be exempt from Congress’s equal opportunity rules. This claim is belied by the facts," Bozell continued in the letter that has been obtained by Fox News Digital. "While The View may once have qualified for an exemption, the evidence shows that it has for years operated for political purposes and is therefore not entitled to an exemption to the law."
Bozell said the MRC "has the documentation to demonstrate that The View is a partisan political operation that advocates for Democrats and their party, against President Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans, and for the political priorities of the left," and can prove that ABC "misrepresented its program in its petition to the FCC" by improperly citing First Amendment case law, and trivializing the actual harms of censorship through false outrage at the Commission’s legitimate questions.
"In support of its petition, MRC will be submitting 2,473 separate pieces of evidence documenting The View’s pervasive bias and, at times, willful electioneering as exhibits to this comment," Bozell wrote.
The 18-page letter argues the ABC News program is not based on newsworthiness but rather for "partisan purposes" such as advancing a preferred candidate. The letter listed multiple examples, including co-host Whoopi Goldberg telling the audience "you know what to do on Election Day."
