[Just The News] Just the News Editor in Chief John Solomon reports that Senators Ron Johnson and Chuck Grassley sent a letter to FBI Director Kash Patel and U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi with evidence revealing that the Biden White House directly helped start Special Counsel Jack Smith’s January 6 investigation into President Donald Trump. According to the letter, the White House Counsel’s Office secretly obtained Trump and then-Vice President Mike Pence’s former cell phones on behalf of the prosecution.
Senate Judiciary Chair Chuck Grassley and Senator Ron Johnson published new emails from FBI whistleblowers showing that President Joe Biden’s then-Deputy White House Counsel Jonathan Su personally assisted the FBI in securing President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence’s cell phones to assist the nascent "Arctic Frost" investigation over January 6.
The new whistleblower emails also show that a future member of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team and an anti-Trump FBI agent were closely involved in the origins of the FBI probe. Operation Arctic Frost formed the basis of former Special Counsel Jack Smith's false elector case under which former President Donald Trump was later charged with a conspiracy to defraud the United States for his campaign’s attempts to assemble alternate slates of electors under claims that the 2020 election had been stolen.
The new emails are contained in a letter the senators sent to Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel urging cooperation with their requests for all information related to the FBI probe.
"Overall, these newly disclosed emails show the extensive collaboration between and among select FBI agents from the Washington Field Office and prosecutors from the U.S. Attorney’s Office — Washington D.C. to plan, approve and execute Arctic Frost," Grassley and Johnson wrote. "The emails also provide further support that ASAC Thibault played a central role in advancing its approval to a full field criminal investigation when other agents had concerns the supporting evidence only allowed for a preliminary investigation."
"Lastly, the emails illustrate the Biden White House’s personal involvement in providing former President Trump and former Vice President Pence’s phones to the FBI at their request when neither of them was a subject of the investigation at that point in time," they added.
The emails turned over to the committee by whistleblowers show that the U.S. Attorney’s Office Criminal Chief John Crabb emailed Su at the White House on May 2, 2022 and copied Assistant Special Agent in Charge Timothy Thibault.

How dumb does a person have to be, not see the Democrats, Socialists and Globalist Liberal Elites are playing them.
I know an awful lot of otherwise intelligent people who have had the wool pulled over their eyes by the media. The TV, newspapers and social media are extremely powerful and, in the hands of Democrats, dangerous. There are alternatives, including Rantburg. But the danger remains.

[Breitbart] Newly confirmed ATF Director Robert Cekada signed a "landmark rulemaking package" during a ceremony Wednesday afternoon that rolls back and revises numerous gun regulations put in place under former President Joe Biden.
Earlier Wednesday, Breitbart News spoke with the DOJ and reported their intentions to "[repeal] several regs from the Biden administration" and make "revisions to Form 4473."
During the afternoon ceremony, Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche congratulated Cekada on being confirmed as Director of the ATF. He then noted how fitting it is that Cekada’s tenure as Director begins with rolling back and/or revising/modifying Biden-era regulations.
Blanche said, "We are repealing rules that went beyond what the law allows" and getting rid of "red tape." He pointed out that said rules were instituted by people who did not understand gun owners or gun store owners.
He said, "The Second Amendment will never be treated as a second-class right in the Trump administration."
Cekada then stepped to the podium and called it a "great day for lawful gun owners."
He explained that 34 proposals were being put forward to "rescind what didn’t work" and "modify" other rules.
He proposed rescinding the Biden-era stabilizer brace rule and also "certain provisions of the definition of ’engaged in the business,'" retaining the definition of "engaged in the business" as codified by Congress. The package also modernizes ATF forms, including Form 4473.
One of the other proposals removes the incorporation of "bump stocks" into the definition of "machine gun."
Cekada made clear that the body of the proposed and final rules will soon appear in the federal register where more details can be seen.

Athenian democracy as practiced at various times before being conquered by Alexander the Great, was a lot different from what we call democracy now.
There were lots of slaves who had no vote. Also women had no vote.
Their defeat by Alexander wasn't due to spending for social programs. Although causes are debated almost every historian blames factional disputes for at least a big part of it.
