[Breitbart] A man who was killed during a standoff with Dallas SWAT police officers worked security for Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) and was also pretending to be a police officer, according to multiple reports.
The man, known as Mike King, reportedly ran a business, Off Duty Police Services, that “placed officers in off-duty jobs,” sources explained to CBS News Texas. King was also reportedly “wanted for impersonating a law enforcement officer.”
King was killed after he ran into a parking garage on Wednesday and pulled “a gun” on police after he was “forced” out of a vehicle by the use of tear gas, according to the outlet:

King has also been seen, in images obtained by the outlet, “standing close to Crockett at event and on the campaign trail” as she recently ran for the U.S. Senate in Texas against James Talarico, the now-Democrat nominee in the Texas U.S. Senate race.
Law enforcement officials from the “fugitive task force” had been “conducting surveillance” on King and followed him into the parking garage at the Children’s Medical Center, Daniel Comeaux, the Chief of Police for the Dallas Police Department, explained, WFAA News reported.
Several police officers told the outlet that King’s company “was posting jobs” through an online platform that police officers use “to sign up for off-duty security work”:

Dallas police officers have told WFAA the company was posting jobs through RollKall, a platform commonly used by police officers to sign up for off-duty security work. According to sources, some Dallas officers unknowingly worked security assignments believing the company was legitimate.
“Our officers are definitely very concerned because they want to make sure that when they provide their information, that it is protected,” Sean Pease, who serves as the President of the Dallas Police Association, told the outlet.

A California man was federally charged after allegedly attacking two Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers and seriously injuring a Dallas police officer at Dallas Love Field Airport, officials said.
Idress Vinay Solomon, 33, of Oakland, California, faces up to 20 years in prison after being accused of assaulting a federal officer and inflicting bodily injury.

According to a federal complaint filed Wednesday, Solomon had a ticket for a Southwest Airlines flight to Oakland International Airport March 10.
Prosecutors said Solomon approached the airport security checkpoint without identification and was directed by a TSA officer to a different lane to be identified through the agency’s ConfirmID process.
Solomon allegedly became "verbally disruptive and aggressive" after the process failed to verify his identity, according to the complaint.
"Violent conduct perpetrated against TSA and law enforcement officers will never be tolerated in the Northern District of Texas," U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas Ryan Raybould said in a statement.
"We will prosecute such offenses to the fullest extent to seek justice for the victims here and to deter others from resorting to aggressive attacks against officers responsible for ensuring the public’s safety while traveling."
Solomon allegedly punched a TSA officer in the back of the neck after the officer called for a supervisor.
According to a complaint, the Dallas Police Department responded to the incident, and Solomon allegedly punched one of the officers multiple times in the face, causing a serious orbital blowout fracture to the officer’s left eye that required hospital treatment.
After he was arrested, Solomon "deliberately spit saliva" onto a police officer’s right arm as officers attempted to place him into a police vehicle, the complaint states.
Prosecutors alleged that Solomon refused to follow lawful verbal commands and continued to yell and pull away from officers.

[WCPO] A fire was visible from I-471 near Memorial Parkway in Northern Kentucky near Newport Friday night.
According to the Campbell County Office of Emergency Management, all lanes northbound and southbound on I-471 and Memorial Parkway would be closed for an undetermined amount of time due to a "vehicle fire."
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) said the interstate north of the Memorial Parkway exit will be blocked until further notice.
KYTC said bridge inspectors will review bridges near the area and those, along with traffic lanes on the interstate, will reopen following the analysis from bridge engineers.

No word on the identity of the mom. The truck driver is a 47-year old man, temporary repairs were quickly done on the highway that’ll hold until the thing is properly done later in the spring, and the road is fully open in both directions again.
