My favorite has been something like, Kirk stating that Kentagi Brown Jackson was a DEI hire. The would be dunker was like, paraphrased, "KBJ is a Harvard grad with honors, you community college dropout."
Unpacking: dunker went immediately to DEI hire means stupid people, which is a tell. The slot was only available to a Black Woman, which is by definition a DEI hire. But even the original Wise Latina DEI hire has wrote in decisions that KBJ doesn't understand the law and its procedure, so really this is a slam on Harvard.
Second, if what she is what prestige colleges are churning out, then community college it is.
[Breitbart] Sir Keir Starmer gave a speech that had been widely trailed beforehand as the launch of his fightback against poll-topping right-wing-sovereigntist Nigel Farage, calling himself a true patriot and his opponents miserable, joyless, and poisonous.
Britain will be subject to a regime of mandatory identity documents by the end of this decade, the Prime Minister said on Friday morning, making the policy the key plank of his fightback against Brexit pioneer and Reform UK leader Nigel Farage.
Farage, who now likes to remind the public that he has come first in over 100 consecutive national opinion polls, has been treated to a suite of positive headlines of late, including from the Daily Telegraph that he is poised to hand the Labour party its worst electoral defeat in a century at the next general election. Starmer, whose party faces electoral oblivion — if the polls are to be believed — and personal relegation given the growing talk of a coup against him from within his own party, portrayed himself as the positive, unifying patriot against the forces of darkness he identified on the right.
As well as general criticism of the world view of the right, Starmer also honed in on some particular narratives, including that some European cities are losing their formerly high-trust society feeling by rising crime and mass migration. Telling his audience and particularly addressing world leaders from the political left including the scandal-hit Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez of Spain, Prime Minister Mark Carney of Canada, and Anthony Albanese of Australia that if they found London safe and welcoming, that must truly disprove the crime narrative.
Starmer did not, of course, interrogate why VIP political travellers enjoying the services of diplomatic protection officers might find London’s best hotels and restaurants to be crime-free and the city “not the wasteland of anarchy that some would have you believe”.
Starmer has, of course, attempted to steer this course before. Earlier this year he made the ‘Island of Strangers’ speech in another bid to connect with British voters on the issue of migration. The address was hailed as a historic change of course, yet just two months after it became apparent the gambit had failed and as Starmer’s own position began to look fragile against a coup from the left from within his own party, he recanted the whole thing.
Blaming his speechwriter and claiming not to have read the major public address beforehand due to personal fatigue, Starmer said he deeply regretted it.
Starmer’s big idea on how to challenge the right, by returning the country to a wartime system of mandatory identity documents last instituted to seek out German spies and enforce food rationing, is fraught with risk. Clearly it is a policy unpopular with a great many and not just from the right, with several left-wing activists quickly speaking out against it. Among the general public, it is too soon to have had any fresh polling on the matter a petition against the idea has soared overnight and is approaching a million signatures already, with some 750,000 gained in 24 hours at the time of publication.

Former Prime Minister Blair and his successor Gordon Brown were, of course, behind trying to implement ID cards for Britons during the last Labour government, an endeavour they had all but succeeded in until they lost the 2010 election.
Farage warned overnight that he worried about the security implications for the government having one database to contain all information centrally about everyone in the UK, calling it an obvious target for hacking by “foreign governments, by private companies, by criminals”. The Brexit pioneer said: “I do not see a single benefit to the government having digital ID other than for them controlling what we do, what we spend, and where we go”.
“Frankly for me I saw enough during the pandemic with vaccine passports. It created a two-tier society of those who could go to places, who could travel… I am personally vehemently opposed to this in every single way.”

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Multiple U.S. attorney's offices are drafting plans to investigate a grant-making group funded by billionaire Democrat donor George Soros, a new report reveals.
A directive instructs prosecutors in at least a half dozen offices to consider charging the group with 'support for terrorism.'
It comes the day after multiple media outlets confirmed that indictments are impending for former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche's office sent the directive, obtained by the New York Times, instructing offices to target another of President Donald Trump's political enemies.
It was communicated to U.S. attorney's offices in California, New York, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Detroit and Maryland.
The directive suggests prosecutors consider a wide range of charges against Soros-funded Open Society Foundations including racketeering, arson, wire fraud and material support for terrorism.
The group denounced the accusations as 'politically motivated attacks on civil society, meant to silence speech the administration disagrees with and undermine the First Amendment right to free speech,' in a statement to the Daily Mail.
'When power is abused to take away the rights of some people, it puts the rights of all people at risk,' the group insisted.
Aakash Singh, the lawyer in Blanche's office responsible for communicating with federal prosecutors around the country, pointed to a recent report by conservative watchdog group Capital Research Center as a basis for the claims.
The report says that Soros's group has 'poured over $80 million into groups tied to terrorism or extremist violence.' One example the it noted was Open Society Foundations funneling money to Palestinian human rights group al-Haq, which Israel claimed in 2022 was a front for terrorist activity.
Capital Research Center monitors liberal money movements in politics.
Singh asked prosecutors in multiple jurisdictions to determine if the allegations in the conservative report are enough to justify opening criminal cases.
And the directive tells U.S. attorneys to prepare to submit their investigative plans soon.
Open Society Foundations maintains that it does not fund terrorism and said in a statement: 'Our activities are peaceful and lawful.'
Trump has said in the past that he wants Soros to be put behind bars.
After Charlie Kirk's political assassination earlier this month, the president singling out Soros's foundation and told NBC News that the mega donor is 'a bad guy' who 'should be put in jail.'
His remarks echoed an August social media post where Trump said Soros and his son should be charged with violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), which is usually used to prosecute mafia figures.
Meanwhile, Trump urged Attorney General Pam Bondi to act quickly in seeking criminal charges against former FBI Director Comey and the New York AG James – both longtime nemeses of the president.
Trump fired Comey in 2017 and multiple investigations have followed him since.
He's expected to be indicted in 'coming days' for lying to Congress about authorizing a leak from the FBI that led to inception of the investigation into Russia colluding with Trump tin influence the 2016 presidential election.
Meanwhile, James has been the center of Trump's ire after she brought several cases against him and his businesses in New York.
Grand juries in the Eastern District of Virginia could soon be asked to vote on proposed indictments in cases against Comey for allegedly lying to Congress and James for suspected mortgage fraud in the state.

What the Trump administration is up against, as explained by civil terrorism expert Jason Curtis Anderson, is the alarming rise in far-left militancy as "nihilistic accelerationism," only suggesting that "Far-left extremism extends far beyond groups like Antifa. There is an entire revolutionary (marxist) ecosystem of interconnected entities: billion-dollar progressive NGOs, anarchist networks, political organizations such as the DSA, foreign influence operations like the Singham network, gaming platforms, Discord servers and reddit threads, the dark web, and even civil-rights organizations staffed with "movement lawyers" fully dedicated to waging war against the West until it collapses."
The NGO world is absolutely terrified. Their ability to sow chaos, subvert the nation, and attempt a collapse of capitalism for a socialist reconstruction is being disrupted. The only problem is that their woke warriors - like the one we saw earlier this week at the ICE facility in Texas - will only become even more activated by the "fascist" and "Nazi" rhetoric pumped out by Democratic Party leaders, suggesting the violence is far from over.

Many of the districts and FBI field offices will resist. We saw this with the Comey investigation and indictment. Force them to follow orders regardless. That will keep them out of investigating what they want to suppress = us. Many will also resign/retire to go do corrupt stuff in the private sector. This will open an opportunity to replace them with people that don’t suck who would have not gotten through leftist hiring filters.
The plan to effectively do this three fold:
1. Make them report which cases they are working on. If they are working on the wrong stuff, put the station Chief on a PIP.
2. Make them report the people hours expended on each case. If the hour breakdown does not match the priorities of the Administration, put the station Chief on a PIP.
3. Finally, do an audit of what is actually in the investigation files to see if the amount of work is consistent with the supposed hours expended. Fire anyone where the output is not consistent with the reported hours. Fire anyone where the case file supports an indictment but the subject has not been indicted. Fire anyone involved in an investigation case where there appears to be carve outs to protect bad actors(see Diddy , Maxwell and Epstein cases.)
In summary, fire lots of people and accept resignations. Replace the bozos with competent folks who care about the Constitution as written not as taught in our universities.

Caught a glimpse of CBS this morning and their "experts" don't seem to think the prosecutors can win a conviction in this case. They were quick to trot out some Democrat senators who complained about vengeance and selective prosecution. Of course, Democrats know all about selective prosecution.
I dunno. I'm no lawyer. But if he lied to Congress it should be pretty easy to prove. If they can prove that his statements to Congress were false, he goes to jail.
We'll just have to wait and see.
But this is the slithering reptile I'd most like to see in an orange jump suit...
