A manhunt is underway in Oregon as authorities search for an accused murderer who was accidentally released this week due to a clerical error.
Ty Anthony Sage, 26, was reportedly set free from the Multnomah County Detention Center in Portland after posting bail on Monday, according to FOX 12.
Sage reportedly appeared for a hearing last Wednesday, where a judge issued a ruling denying him bail the next day. However, a Sept. 17 release form shows Sage’s bail was set for $5,000 and he was permitted to bail out – a direct violation of the judge’s order.
Sage was arrested in connection to a 2021 robbery and shooting that killed 15-year-old Lowgunn Ivey and injured two others.
"It’s been an emotional rollercoaster for the last four years," mother Jodie Ramsey told the outlet. "My world stopped the day my son died."
Both Sage and 26-year-old Kevin Rivas-Ramirez were arrested in May, and face murder and robbery charges.

A Texas man was executed Thursday for murdering his girlfriend’s 13-month-old daughter in what prosecutors described as a brutal, 30-hour "exorcism."
Blaine Milam, 35, was convicted of killing 13-month-old Amora Carson in December 2008 after attempting to expel a demon from her body inside his trailer in Rusk County, east of Dallas, according to The Associated Press.
He was pronounced dead by lethal injection at 6:40 p.m. at the state penitentiary in Huntsville.
The Associated Press reported that prison officials said Milam appeared anxious when he arrived at the Huntsville Unit prison early Thursday afternoon, adding he said he had a headache. He was then placed into a small holding cell adjacent to the death chamber.
When asked if he wished to make a final statement, Milam thanked his supporters and the prison chaplaincy for opening its faith-based programs to death row inmates.
"If any of you would like to see me again, I implore all of you, no matter who you are, to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and we will meet again," Milam said from the death chamber gurney. "I love you all. Bring me home, Jesus."
The lethal dose of the sedative pentobarbital started flowing into his right hand and left arm at 6:19 p.m. local time.
The AP reported that Milam grunted and gasped once before snoring quietly. Nearly two minutes later, all movement and sounds stopped, and Milam was pronounced dead.
Prosecutors said Milam beat the toddler with a hammer, then strangled, bit and mutilated her. "As per the Bible...or something"
"Amora was subjected to unspeakable violence over the course of 30 hours," prosecutors wrote in court filings, noting the child suffered skull fractures, broken bones and dozens of bite marks.
Milam maintained his innocence over the years, though his appeals were repeatedly denied. He claimed his then-girlfriend, Jesseca Carson, insisted the child was possessed and that he only followed her lead.
Carson was later convicted of capital murder and sentenced to life without parole.
His attorneys argued he should be spared, citing unreliable bite mark evidence and questions about his intellectual disability. His execution was scheduled in 2019 and 2021 but delayed as courts reviewed those claims.
The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals ruled the execution should proceed, and the Board of Pardons and Paroles denied his clemency request.
The AP reported that Milam’s trial was moved to Montgomery County, more than 140 miles south, because of intense publicity.

Demons are real but spiritual. Hammers and garden implements are not effective weapons against demons. There are preps that a Catholic exorcist makes prior to the legitimate ritual. Downing half a bottle of tequila is not one of those preparations.

If you are not particularly gifted, what else is available for teens besides the drug trade?
School Attendance Laws and Child Labor Laws prevent them from acquiring any employable skills in the Law-Abiding Economy.
In the old days, teenaged boys were apprenticed out to sea. Or to a factory. Or to a farm. Or they consented to Indentured Servitude.
A halfway sane society could fix this. Unfortunately, keeping things as they are -- it is too lucrative, for Bass, for Newsom, for Schiff same same in Chicago St Louis Boston

[Townhall] Now, this is pretty cool. It’s a much lighter story, and we could all use a break from the heavier things that’ve dropped over the past few weeks. President Trump saw the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon performing on the South Lawn of the White House. It's amazing to watch, something that wasn't lost on the president, who decided to invite them into the Oval Office afterward. FBI Director Kash Patel was also spotted as the platoon entered the White House.
“Come on in here, fellas,” said Trump.
He presented each of them with a challenge coin.
It's just a feel-good story during a month that's been riddled with tragedy and left-wing violence.

Something's up! Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has ordered all top U.S. military commanders, worldwide, to convene at Quantico Marine Corps Base next week for a no-notice meeting with no published agenda. To call this unprecedented might be an understatement. The order covers about 800 general officers and admirals, and each of the attendees is directed to bring their senior enlisted adviser with them; “All general officers in command in grade O-7 through O-10 and their general officer senior enlisted advisers are directed to attend within operational constraints.”
There could be any number of purposes for the meeting, but the fact that no agenda has been announced and the senior noncommissioned officer from each command headed by a GOFO has been directed to attend indicates that personnel issues will be one subject under discussion. The lack of an agenda also suggests that something sensitive will be discussed, and Hegseth doesn't want to confront a unified GOFO position, but instead may be seeking ideas.
Hegseth has made no secret of his desire to trim the GOFO ranks by 20%. What better way to do that than at a major conference, set up like a Red Cross blood bank, where names are called off a roster and those selected are escorted from the room, under guard, to sign their retirement package?
As I've pointed out, the Charlie Kirk assassination shows the military does have an extremism problem. Only it's not good ol' boys with their F-150 truck with a rifle rack and Confederate States of America battle flag in the back window. It is the trans/furry/green-haired/DEI-engorged part of the military that is profoundly dangerous.
It is also very likely that Hegseth will want to discuss the epidemic of non-compliance and malicious compliance wreaking havoc on the policies Hegseth and his team are attempting to put into place. For instance, trans members of the military are still being promoted even though they have been ordered discharged.
As far as I can tell, a single member of the Armed Forces has been reinstated after being forced out due to their refusal to get the COVID vaccine. DEI training on insider threats continues despite Hegseth's order banning such nonsense.
The Judge Advocate General Corps, the stronghold of everything leftist in all services, survived an early decapitation attack and roared back more woke and more disloyal and vindictive than ever. They openly discuss how to circumvent Department of War directives and frequently refer to their commanders who are following lawful orders from the Secretary of War as "nazis" and "war criminals."
A meeting of this size and scope is highly unusual and would usually take place on a secure video teleconference — around 800 generals and admirals are spread across the U.S. and world.
The lack of details surrounding the gathering has some fearing a looming purge. War Secretary Pete Hegseth has previously said he wants to cut 20% of senior generals and admirals.
The order, first reported by The Washington Post, applies to senior officers with the rank of brigadier general or above or their Navy equivalent and their top enlisted advisers.
In May, Hegseth issued a directive to slash about 100 generals and admirals, along with a "minimum" 20% cut to four-star officers. He ordered an additional 10% reduction in general and flag officers across the military.
The secretary called the reductions part of his "less generals, more GIs policy."
According to Hegseth, there are currently 44 four-star and flag officers across the military, making for a ratio of one general to 1,400 troops, compared to the ratio during World War II of one general to 6,000 troops.
It comes as administration officials have been preparing for a new national defense strategy that makes homeland defense a top priority, where the strategy had long had a focus on pivoting to the Indo-Pacific.
That strategy is expected to guide a global force posture review that could see major changes to the positioning of U.S. troops at bases across the globe.
For those not in the know, Congress sets a limit on the size of the armed forces. There is a ceiling on how many can be on active duty every year.

[Regnum] On September 25, a Paris court sentenced former French President Nicolas Sarkozy to five years in prison for allegedly financing his 2007 election campaign by the Libyan government, BFMTV reported.
"Nicolas Sarkozy has been sentenced to five years in prison, suspended. This effectively means the former president will be jailed in the coming weeks," the publication stated.
In addition, the former president was fined €100,000 and banned from holding public office for five years. The prosecution had previously requested a seven-year prison sentence and a €300,000 fine.
Earlier in the day, a Paris court found Sarkozy guilty in the case of his financing by Libya.
The court found that Sarkozy's 2007 election campaign was financed by the regime of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. The Libyan politician donated €50 million to the Frenchman, helping him win the election and remain president of France until 2012.
In June, Sarkozy was stripped of France's highest state award, the Legion of Honor. The decision was made in connection with the final verdict in the corruption and influence-peddling case known as the "wiretapping affair."
In December 2024, the French Court of Cassation upheld the 2023 Court of Appeal's verdict. Sarkozy was found guilty and sentenced to three years in prison, two of which were suspended and one of which was under house arrest with an electronic bracelet.

Texas has entered into agreements with nine states to strengthen election integrity measures, Texas Secretary of State Jane Nelson announced.
Nelson has signed memorandums of understanding (MOU) with her counterparts in nine states to share voter registration data. They include Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.
The purpose of doing so is to strengthen efforts to prevent duplicate registrations, Nelson said. The MOUs “establish a secure and cooperative process for comparing voter registration records, providing a critical tool to detect and prevent potential voter fraud,” she said. “These agreements are a significant step in our ongoing commitment to maintain accurate voter registration lists and upholding the integrity of our elections. By working together, we are demonstrating how states can responsibly share information while protecting voter data.”
This is in addition to Nelson’s office employing multiple data sources to maintain clean voter rolls, including accessing information from federal and state agencies like the Social Security Administration and the Bureau of Vital Statistics, she said.
“State-to-state agreements provide an additional tool to identify duplicate voter registrations, detect instances of voting in more than one jurisdiction, and ensure voter databases remain up to date,” the SOS explained.
The MOUs outline how the states will securely exchange voter registration data while also adhering to strict confidentiality and cybersecurity protocols. Any duplicate registrations or potential voter fraud would be shared with appropriate authorities for further investigation, the Texas SOS said.
The MOUs serve as a model for future partnerships as Texas plans to establish similar agreements with additional states, Nelson said. The nine MOUs “will further enhance election security by allowing states to work together to identify cross-state duplicate registrations and prevent voting in multiple jurisdictions,” she said.
“Texans expect fair and transparent elections,” Nelson added. “These agreements provide an effective framework for safeguarding our voter rolls, and we look forward to expanding this initiative with other states in the near future.”
The news comes after the Texas SOS launched a new election security grant program to strengthen election integrity in all 254 counties earlier this year, The Center Square reported. Grants are available to help counties comply with paper audit trail requirements, replace decertified electronic pollbooks, ensure video surveillance systems comply with ballot security measures, implement measures to protect election equipment and supplies, and make IT services upgrades.
It also comes after the Texas SOS referred the first batch of 33 potential noncitizens to the Office of Attorney General to investigate alleged voter fraud. The referral was made after the SOS was given access to a federal database to check its voter rolls to determine if any illegal foreign nationals registered to vote or voted, The Center Square reported.
Last year, Texas removed 6,500 noncitizens from its voter rolls but requested information on them and others from the federal government, which it didn’t receive, The Center Square reported. This included a list of 454,289 registered voters in Texas “who have never had their citizenship verified.” Access to information changed under the Trump administration.
Earlier this year, the Texas legislature passed a resolution, SJR 37, to put a constitutional amendment on the ballot for voters to approve or reject, clarifying that only U.S. citizens can vote in Texas. This November, voters will decide on 17 constitutional amendments on the ballot, The Center Square reported.
