[Breitbart] In a January 26, 2026, letter, the Arizona Sheriffs’ Association blasted AZ Attorney General Kris Mayes’ (D) statements that seemed to indicate the state’s “Stand Your Ground” law might provide legal justification for shooting ICE agents.
Mayes made her comments in an interview posted by 12 News NBC, where she focused on Arizona’s “Stand Your Ground” law, noting that it is one of the most expansive such laws in the country.
She said:
You have these masked federal officers with very little identification — sometimes no identification — wearing plain clothes and masks, and we have a ‘Stand Your Ground’ law that says if you reasonably believe your life is in danger and you’re in your house or in your car or on your property, that you can defend yourself with lethal force.
Mayes added, “It’s a fact that we have a ‘Stand Your Ground’ law and, in other states, un-uniformed, masked people who can’t be identified as police officers.”
The Arizona Police Association has since denounced the comments as “reckless” and Arizona Senate Majority Leader John Kavanaugh (R) has called for Mayes to “step down in disgrace.”
U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs (R) told Breitbart News that Mayes’ comments amount to “fantasizing about violent radicals shooting ICE agents.”
Now the Arizona Sheriffs’ Association is blasting Mayes’ “lack of understanding of state law–or much worse, a willful and reckless interpretation of the law.”
In a January 26, 2026, open letter, the Arizona Sheriffs’ Association made clear, “The Attorney General does not speak for Arizona law enforcement” and warned that her “rhetoric risks being … misused in ways that could endanger all law enforcement.”
Future tense, but how far into the future — weeks, months, or years? Because this is an awful idea — worker and business productivity will fall through the floor when living and deliveries are limited to the local supply.

On Monday, Wagner’s Instagram account was deleted, and he appears to have been removed from Facebook and TikTok as well.
A GoFundMe campaign remains active in which Wagner asks for $50,000 to help him “replace my essential documents, apply for political asylum, and relocate my belongings into safe storage.”
Wagner says, “Every dollar will go directly toward helping me flee this persecution and secure a future where I am not hunted for my beliefs.”
He tells would-be donors that with their support, “we can make a difference and ensure that I am able to continue fighting for what is right.”
The Daily Wire reached out to GoFundMe for comment, but did not immediately receive a response.

Y'all really need to get off this jail bullshit. Once you've been there a few times it doesn't'really matter that much. I know you inexperienced don't understand this, but rape in jail isn't as common as you think.

It never rarely goes down — It's the highest that I've ever seen. It's even worse than this because there's the 4.4 million adults in Wisconsin, not all of them registered, not all of them vote. We're really down around about 3.6 million, 3.7 million.”
So what he’s saying is only about 3.7 million people are registered voters but they have 7.13 million registered voters

Wisconsin has a hybrid registration system with counties having initial responsibility and the State maintaining records, deleting voters, etc..
The problem comes up because when a person doesn't vote in 4 elections in a row they are put on an 'inactive voter' list. Inactive voters must refresh their registration (under county supervision) before voting again. Wisconsin State also deletes people from the 'inactive voter' list upon death notices and some other events. It is a a messy system. Another example of messiness, Wisconsin requires an ID to vote but not to register to vote.

I get that the feeling that every expat Packers fan feels they have the right to vote in Wisconsin along with wherever they moved to even if they move to the afterlife.
