#1 I can see why the Russians are horrified. Adding outside directors to a board appointed by oligarchs promotes openness. The Kremlim operates in the shadows.

Other items include transparency, rule of law, anti-corruption measures and meeting international standards required for EU membership.

The reforms focus on the functioning of the Supervisory Boards of state-owned businesses, anti-corruption bodies (the Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, National Agency for Corruption Prevention, etc.), the High Council of Justice, and the judiciary in general.

Changes in the work of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence and all law enforcement agencies are also listed as one-year priorities.

#3 Burisma was a Russian puppet cutout created by the puppet Yanokovych regime to convert Russian gas money into Ukrainian political influence and continued dependence on Russian natural gas. That's why the successor Poroshenko administration was investigating it.

This year Ukraine will produce enough natural gas to use over the winter w/o imports.
