These are nearly exactly the same words that the police of Cologne used in their early mendacious press release re the events of 12/31/15-1/1/16.

During a previous protest, officers told him to leave because they couldn't guarantee his safety, "or do you want police officers to fight for you?"

Yes. That's basically the deal in a polity that does not respect the people's RKBA. The police must fight for the people.

The big danger does not come from terror attacks. The big danger is political Islam acquiring power within Western government structures and using our own security apparatus to subjugate us.

I don't trust the German police.

#2 Another vignette that casts the German police in a very bad light:

In Cuxhaven, Germany there's been a series of strange attacks by wooden club wielding children 10-12 years old, including the beating of a 94 old woman in a public park. (link in German)

The police refuses to answer press inquiries about the nationality of the suspects. (link in German)

The police's non-answer is, of course, an answer.

<speculation>
The recent events in Syria just might have inspired a certain demographic stratum to try the same in Germany.

If that's the case the police will sweep everything under the rug out of cowardice.

These aren't big incidents, but they are litmus tests showing us where things are at.
