Having worked East-St. Louis/Scott AFB and Chicago back in the 90's. It took me months to get my Il State Patrol issued Firearm license. Waiting, I quickly learned Illinois is a rabid Gun Control state. Laws which do not hinder Thugs/Gangs and Nuts from getting a firearm on the street to rob and kill people. It just hinders honest citizens from protecting their families and themselves.
