For period ending 30 June 2026

Talarico raised about $72M
Paxton raised about $17M

Funds on hand at 30 June
Talarico about $23M
Paxton about $10M

Some polls also have Talarico ahead.

3 Paxton has some baggage, and it's being well amplified by the media. He's good on the issues but that may not matter. I suspect his best chance to win is to campaign as 'not Talerico.' (I may make a yard sign that is a Talerico sign with a red barred circle across it.)

4 The important thing is how much of that money is in state vs out. Just like Beto, all the out of state money doesn't help when you have been revealed as basically a vegan weirdo, which doesn't play well with anyone but they antifa crowd.

about 15% of Paxton's funds are from out of State

even though only 70 days or so left, there will be lots and lots more fundraising

Talarico will almost certainly top $130M and that doesn't count indirect funding from "independent" PACs.

Paxton will likely top $50M

Of course this is on top of the very expensive primaries in both the R and D primary.

For reference, Beto took in about $200M in 3 campaigns over a 4 year period.
