2 I was reading Kurdish Media and TIL. I do not know why I thought Iran would not have Kurds in their military.

TIL: The IRGC mobilized thousands of its Kurdish militia members and deployed them to border areas (Mahabad) to stop an imminent attack by Kurdish opposition groups...
