3 When this mass illegal migration thing started ramping up, I happened to be reading "The Camp of the Saints" (Jean Raspail 1973), a novel about a massive uncontrolled migration of Third Worlders into Europe which collapses Western Civilization. It is a well-written novel, but I found the premise preposterous. No way would the Euros let this happen!

So it was quite surreal watching the story play out in real time as I turned the pages. Still seems like a bad idea.
