No restrictions on trade or travel and 'solidarity' with the Congolese people, eh? The trade part is probably OK since the disease is spread by people, not things. Restricting travel of potential Ebola patients and their fluids is probably a good idea, assuming we are trying to contain the disease.

No idea what "solidarity with the Congolese people" means. Welcome them with hugs and kisses, or just send money?

A more cynical person than I would note that the bigger deal this Ebola outbreak becomes, the more influence, importance, and money the WHO gets.
