8 Chris, the cannibalism jokes here have been going on for 20 years. A portion of global terrorism is Far Eastern. Many of the elder prior military folks have deployed there and ran into stories about locals partaking of “long pig.” There is likely still some of that going on over there today. I could be wrong. I don’t spend any time on Redit.

Never tried it myself, as far as I know. Hippy potlucks and all that. But I have read that in New Guinea, human meat is referred to as "long pig".

As westerners, we are a bit squeamish about such things, but parts is parts.
