2 I'm concerned the early Iranian report that they had captured a pilot is correct, and that they changed the report to lure in rescuers to capture.

3 @Luring in the rescuers isn't going to end well for the ambushers. There is going to be some highly motivated CAS pilots overhead all of the time, CAP to protect them and likely an AC-130U with it's sensors and guns for precision work.
