2 Given the blatant fraud and abuse of the existing tax base, there is no justification for any further taxes till its cleaned up. Expenditures need to be capped and any federal function that is not constitutionally based cut 5% every subsequent year.

SUGGESTIONS

* Simply because the DC swamp has become a tax and spend wastefully group. All Tax increases must be voted on by the citizens.

* No citizen should have to pay more that 25% of their TOTAL (Local-State-Fed) annual income in taxes. Given we have come to the point "We The People" are nearing the 60%+ TAX mark in all open and hidden taxes we encounter each day. Are we just 3rd party government employees w/o benefits.?

* BOTH Sides of the DC Swamp, MUST learn to live within the previous years collected revenues.

* Institute a plain simple FLAT TAX or Simplified tax code of less tan 2 pages for individuals.

* Given we are in the AI computer spy age, and Big Brother AI knows everything (except Epstein DC Swamp overnight guests). Citizens with no other source of income, other than their W-2 tracked job pay. Shall only need to sign and submit a 1-page form that states no other sources of income and file it.

Using the Liberals, Socialists, and Democrats (LSD's) ID Card burden for voting example.
Doesn't, preparing our taxes, to comply with constantly changing tax code, far exceed their stated skill levels needed to obtain an ID?

5 There are plenty of free tax prep kits.

Problem is the data to fill the software. For people with only a few income sources, e.g., Social security, pension and using standard deduction this will be simple. For people with more complex situations, e.g., rental property, lots of medical bills the data is the problem.

7 ^Not sure that is Turbo Tax's fault. I notice a few years ago that if I did not take a little bit extra for my Federal withholding, I ended up owing money. State tax withholding had been like that as long as I can remember.
