1 To me, the casualty reports with respect to volume, severity and symptoms did not match the use of military grade chem weapons. Probably some variety of tear gas was used. That said, there was one claim that 100k people were blinded, but I didn’t see any other info as to what that meant.

With respect to the propaganda war, I have noticed that fat and unattractive people appear to be totally safe to protest in Iran.

2 Military Grade chemical weapons use is not a recommended measure for domestic riot and crowd control in built-up areas.

The downside should be fairly obvious.
