7 I was gonna do one about the top 10 commenters but articles just disappear in database errors so it's kind of a waste because these things take time to compose and compile, plus you have to ask the right prompts to get a good answer because bots tend to ramble. Then you have to rephrase and try a better prompt and repeat this a few times. They're only as good as their training data. All they do is predict the next token.

Actually, especially not Fred and me — if someone else submits the same thing, I generally give them preference unless inlines are involved, because we have enough already in the archives. Or you can do as Skidmark does, and add a link to a comment in a thread that matches the topic. No doubt you’ll have noted that he puts about three times as many links in comments than he does as posted articles
