1 Economic Times - Following the incident, comparisons between Ilhan Omar and actor Jussie Smollett began circulating online. Some social media users alleged that Ilhan Omar staged her own attack, referencing Smollett’s widely publicized case involving a reportedly fabricated hate crime.

While we're at it, can someone have a look at Mr. Kazmierczak bank account and financial status, also his cell phone contacts, recent travels, etc. Add the late Mr. Pretti's financial status, cellie contacts to the 'look-see' also please. Pattern-of-life analysis is very important. We really do need to rule out (or confirm)...this absolutely insane notion of a "staged" event.

2 John Kiriakou "Doing Time Like A Spy"

An interesting book. Kiriakou was a CIA ops guy who went to prison after blowing the whistle on waterboarding in Iraq. You get an insider's look at some recent history, a bit of intelligence tradecraft, life in a federal prison, and how things generally work, all swirled together.
Rated two opposable thumbs up

As for the 'incident', too soon to choose. Given Omar, the probability of Crazy Person and another Smollett (pronounced "Smo-LAY") are just about equal. But I'd put a chip on Smollett just for sport.

That makes the attacker a world class idiot or this attack was staged., which would make Omar much stupider than I thought if she thought the FBI wouldn't find out it was staged.
