4 The way I see it, Greenlanders have a choice, it's going to happen whether they want/like it or not.

They can become citizen of the USA, or become citizen of Russian or become citizen of China!

They won't be independence for much longer so they might as well as choose what countries they want to become part of now.

Denmark sure ain't doing a good job of taking care of Greenland! Heck, Denmark can barely take care of Denmark!

5 Greenland vs Denmark is not a happy marriage. Denmark pours a lot of money into Greenland with little return and the Greenlanders chafe at being a colony.

Prediction: At the end of the day, Greenland declares independence and becomes a US protectorate like Guam but with less danger of tipping over. The US leases military bases amd makes commercial investments. Denmark gets a consolation prize.

ICC indictments when? ICJ indictments when? Make a big stink about this, Unlike the defensive operation in Gaza which did not reach any of the articles. In fact, it prevented a genocide.
Tell the world everyone involved is culpable from prime minister down to the nurses. There's no statute of limitations on genocide. We were still pulling Nazi clerks from Auschwitz out of nursing homes in their 90s to try them. The same must happen to the Danes.

10 There's a difference between sterilization and IUD.

Only if the IUD is removed while the woman is still of childbearing years, Grom, and the thing didn’t damage her so badly that she was unable to bear children. In this case the Danish government intended it as sterilization, and as most of the victims were never informed, even those not damaged by having an adult-sized device inserted in a child-sized uterus were not aware that they needed to ask a doctor to take it out.

14 Denmark has controlled Greenland since 1721. Indigenous peoples lived there for thousands of years before that.

This is a little misleading. The current indigenous people of Greenland (the Inuit) are descendants of the Thule people who came from North America, with their main migration to Greenland occurring around the 13th century (1200s AD) - right around the time the Scandinavian (one might even say Danish) population was starting to die out. That process ended around 1450; though their peak population was probably never more than 2,000 people.

But before both of them there were several different vanished populations of peoples: the Saqqaq and the Dorset. The theory is that the Dorset polished off the Saqqaq, and were in turn finished off by the Inuit and Scandinavians. The latter weren't as well adapted to the environment as the former and evacuated by the Europe due to climate change. Then three centuries later they came back and colonized all over again.

So the Danish have as good a claim to Greenland as anyone. As do the Inuit. Not that any of this excuses what the Danish did to the Inuit between 1966 and 1992 under the leadership of both left and right wing parties.

15 And are still doing, Secret Master, as their social workers continue to rule parents unfit over rigid culture differences, and take the kids away at five times the rate they do for Danish parents. Reportedly the standards have been adjusted, but the local authorities aren’t having it.
