The Atlanta Federal Reserve does a nowcast for the GDP. As of today, it indicates that Q4 of 2025 was a booming 5% annualized gain in GDP.

The BEA keeps tab on the trade balance. The USA is a chronic deficit in this but over the past 6 months this deficit is rapidly decreasing.

5 I worked our local food bank again yesterday. I estimate we had about 275 families come through. My day in December it was about 350. And in November it was 500. Anecdotal economic indicator.
