1 From a photo series by Nina Leen of aspiring actress Jo Ann Kemmerling reading a book in the small bathtub in her New York City apartment sometime in 1953.

I still really appreciate B&W photography if done correctly. Subject, lighting, framing and context.

The eye is not distracted by somebody's idea of what the colors should be. It becomes more of a 'moment in time' instead of something else.

5 She should have a bath mat on the floor by that tub so she doesn't slip on the linoleum when she gets out of the tub. We'd all hate for that to happen.

8 re: "the electric switch" above the tub. We had similar code problems with our Jacuzzi. I suggested battery powered switch or voice activated to our architect and he replied in horror:<strong> "No government inspector would understand how to deal with that and would refuse it!" Which goes right back to the stupidity of letting the government determine anything as they are bureaucrats and nothing else except many times crooks.
