1 I went to high school north of Boston. Needing a translator to understand people in Lawrence is not that extreme.

2 According to the Daily Wire, Lawrence is over 82% Hispanic. Also, Hizzoner came over from the Dominican Republic in the early 1980s, first settling in New York City before moving to Lawrence in 1989, so the fact that he required his personal assistant to translate for him in court is shocking if the need last Friday was real rather than tactical.

3 Back in the 80’s, Lawrence had one of the thickest Boston accents. It was full of ethnic, tough hardworking folks. Sounds like it has need.
