2 There *does* seem to be a persistent dream out there on the web about breaking Russia up, with peaces going to the Europeans, China, and the Umma respectively. Thus three of the world's great civilizations (The West, China, and Islam) would have a titanic team up to eliminate a fourth.

But then there are those pesky nukes to consider.
