4 I think Bongino is a genuine man of integrity and honesty. His short tenure at the FBI may be the result of one or more reasons:
1. He has a weaker gag reflex than he thought and the miasma of the past misbehaviors was becoming toxic for him.
2. The intent was always to let him return to his show with a better insider understanding of what was going on to clean up the messes behind the "green door".
3. He was always going to return to his show but because of what access he had been given behind the "green door" has has to be muted in criticism of what remained to be done or is not being done!

Some mix of all three is probable!

5 I betcha within two - three years Bongino writes a book about it. Always a book, never much action other than stompy feet and shouty words.

6 I read something — no link, sorry — that his wife and children did not join him in Washington, and that has put a strain on the marriage. His job was to clean out the Augean Stables, a dirty, painful job. He did the first pass, driving out at least some of those who needed to go, and discovering some of what needed to be seen, which will make his successor’s job easier.

I’m sure it could have been done better, but we live in reality. And he has not done badly as a lightning rod for an organization that is partially honourable and partially historically deeply corrupt.

Mr. Salami, have you thoughts about your old stomping grounds? I recall you were very frustrated during the Biden period.
