1 Considering that these computer based jets undoubtedly include a remote 'off' command, I don't see it as an issue.

2 The F-35 is an interesting machine. Not only does it have the usual fly-by-wire systems, but it is also designed to function in a heavily networked environment.

There is nothing in the manual about it, but according to unreliable sources, if you send a packet to the CRM 114 Network Discriminator containing the ASCII bytes 'POE', the avionics shutdown entirely.
