This is not Twitter/X oreven Reddit. We don’t have any of those fancy add-ons, not even nested comment threads. We just say such things in a comment, as you did, putting an italicized quote from the original at the top so readers can see what we are responding to. But note that the source article is Regnum — so it’s Russian — and translated. So it is reasonable to expect that the language used will be less than perfect. Look for what the writer intended to communicate, while feeling free to mock how it came out.

6 Translation is accurate: Burchett is saying alien are present (присутствуют) at USA bases.

присутствуют is the Russian translation of the word be present.
